Centrally Located in the Heart of Union Square, Somerville.

Open Space Community Acupuncture is located on the first floor of Union Square’s former police station, right behind the farmers’ market plaza. We’re conveniently situated near the intersection of Prospect Street, Washington Street, and Somerville Avenue, just a few blocks from the new Union Square T station. Our clinic is less than 1.5 miles from Harvard, Kendall, Porter, Central, and Sullivan Squares, There’s metered parking, a bus stop and a Blue Bike station directly outside our clinic.

Public Transportation

In addition to the new Union Square T-stop, several bus lines serve our area, including routes 85, 86, 87, 88, 91, and CT-2, offering good public transit access.

Landmarks

We are located directly above Vera’s Restaurant, next to The Independent Bar. From Prospect Avenue, the driveway into this business area is across from Ricky’s Flower Market.

Parking

Metered parking is available in a lot next to the clinic, along with resident parking on the surrounding streets. On weekends and after 5pm there is free parking behind the clinic. You can access this parking via Sanborn Court, the alley to the right of our entrance as you face the building. 

ACCESSIBILITY

Our building offers an accessible entrance and designated parking spot at the rear of the building. To access it, turn onto Sanborn Court—the alley to the right when facing our main entrance. For assistance, please call us in advance at 617-627-9700, and we will be ready to buzz you in through the back door. Additionally, an accessible bathroom is available in the hallway just outside our clinic.
